Accountabilities Responsible for chemical paint stripping work on Aircraft exterior surface. Responsible for completing Aircraft exterior Painting. Responsible for defined Aircraft corrosion protection work. Main activities 1.Chemical stripping 2.Masking non-stripping area or parts with aluminium tape 3.Applying chemical stripper on exterior surface 4.Sanding sensitive areas by manual 5.Surface Preparation 1)Cleaning surfaces (use of various cleaners and solvents) 2)Activation (sanding surfaces -–grades of abrasives) 3)Tapping and masking 4)Light composite repairs on small defect areas 6. Painting 1)Use of spray gun with different lacquers (metallic and high-solid) 2)Use of high transfer paint spray equipment 3)Application of colour systems with spray gun 4)Disassemble/reassemble and clean spray equipment 5)Sanding -–polishing (using various abrasives & compounds) 6)Final cleaning 7)Touching up 8)Spraying large surfaces 9)Logo application/localization 7.Rework and Repair Handling of highly complex touch-up & repair paint procedures 8. Corrosion Protection Painting Painting Aircraft parts; Apply Corrosion Protection Chemical. Qualifications / Requirements Above 2-3 years’ work experience in MRO company. High flexibility (night shift) and willing to support colleagues Good knowledge and skills in corrosion and painting. Good at English reading, speaking and writing. Self-motivated and self-directed With High energy to take heavy burden work Can work at small space Can operate chemical without irritability Team sprite member Sometimes OT is required Note: Priority will be given to candidates with more than 2 years’ experience in chemical stripping, particularly on the A/C model of A350 and 787.
