CONTEXT OF THE POSITION
The Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) is responsible to define the best delivery sequence
integrating all necessary inputs and maintain the maintenance plan In the serial production
phase, AME is responsible for the Definition Engineering Dossier covering all the necessary
means, at Customer line (ADC + FL) : Engineering technical Information, quality control,
components & parts, Jigs & tools, Health & Safety.
In the maintenance production, they built the maintenance work package following all
information given by SEME, MCC, MAP, DTM, AMM for parking/storage, Maintenance In
Production, Preventive Maintenance, Zéro Clock Setting activities.
They define the aircraft configuration following the out of standing works. They create work
orders (depending on Part 21 or 145). Regular feedback loops & continuous improvements with
the customer, the shop floor.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
● Contribute to all phases of the Maintenance plan and manage the Working party and the
parking / storage activities with Engineering
● Push industrial requirements to Engineering (specific design/M&P) & Supply Chain.
Introduce Manufacturing best practice/ standardisation into design
● Define Build Process (manage Technical Sequencing) for ME
● Be a key actor on proposals regarding customized procedures and alternatives means
dedicated to Customer Line context.
● Facilitator for production team, quality department, technical support and logistic service
concerning every topic
● Plan regular feedback loops with the Production Team and Interface Maintenance tasks,
Prepared Bill Of Material and Standard Operating Instruction
● Communicate with the different AME in the world (China, USA, Hambourg, Toulouse), for
all airbus delivery center, with different languages and different cultures
● Create / update routings / BoM / SOI taken into account shop floor needs.
Components/parts definition, specifications and jigs & tools activities support and
process monitoring

● Manage key / recurrent work prep issues escalated by the Production Team / Tech shop
floor support
● Communicate directly and by a physical participation in Production Team routines and
participate in project works in cross-skilled teams (national / international)
● Support Customer/shop floor continuous improvement by providing work prep expertise
when issues not managed at shop floor level by technical shop floor support.
● Advising in the budget preparation, to support determination of cost improvement
measures (For projects only).
● Evaluate industrial impacts of modifications in collaboration with MFT team
QUALIFICATION
1. EDUCATION: with ___ college___ degree, in ____Aviation industry__ major.
