Description:
1. To design the mechanical structure of Radio Base Stations, mainly focusing on filter unit, which is an important functional module within RBS system.
2. To cooperate with filter radio designers in realizing filter unit’s radio function with pure mechanical design.
3. To use calculation / simulation / experimental methods in mechanical design to demonstrate / verify mechanical function and performance.
4. To interface mechanical designers of other part of RBS system and cooperate in platform product design.
5. To build 3D models and 2D drawings of mechanical parts with CAD software and on-line CAD database.
6. To cooperate with the global R&D designers with different knowledge backgrounds, providing professional mechanical analysis and high quality information flow.
8. To provide technical specifications for outsourcing parts based on international standards.
9. To cooperate with the R&D Center sourcing team interfacing external vendors in technical aspects.
10. To cooperate with Global vendor’s manufacture engineers and production engineers in optimizing manufacture process and assembly process.
11. To analyze product’s mechanical failures and provide solutions.
12. To innovate new techniques or solutions in mechanical design.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor degree or above in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. (Required)
2. Excellent knowledge of mechanical design, including calculation and simulation skills. (Required)
3. Excellent experience in computer assisted design tools such as Pro/Engineer and PDMlink. (Required)
4. Good knowledge / experience in manufacture process including die casting, CNC, sheet metal, injection plastic, fasteners and connectors (Preferred)
5. Good knowledge / experience in metal materials, plastic materials and surface treatment processes. (Preferred)
6. Good knowledge / experience in international standards in mechanical quality and tests. (Preferred)
7. Basic knowledge of Wireless Communication systems and filter unit. (Preferred)
8. Be proactive and responsible, result-oriented, respect work. (Required)
9. Good communication skills and social abilities, good in team cooperation. (Required)
10. Fluent oral and written English. (Required)
11. Research experience related to mechanical design. (Preferred)
