崗位職責(zé):
1. Achieve Company’s Line Manager’s assigned business target. Visit clients and be able to accept business trips to other places.
2.Understand clients risk profile and exposures to provide advice on coverage, program pricing and retention strategy of marine insurance such as Cargo Transportation Insurance, H&M insurance, P&I insurance, Charterer's Liability Insurance and War Risks.
3.Understand client business issues, needs and expectations and provide guidance on insurance requirements. Organize training according to customer needs.
4.Undertake appropriate benchmarking for clients on their programme limits, coverage and deductibles as required.
5.Manage market relationships at both in an operational and strategic level.
6.Ensure all activities that are undertaken on behalf of Lockton are compliant with regulation and internal standards and procedures.
7.Ensure associates in the team possess appropriate levels of professional knowledge and experience in the type of services which he or she provides to clients.
8.Ensure that all placements are made in accordance with Lockton group procedures for Trading Partnerships and Market Security.
9.Preparation and issuance of appropriate coverage documentation, including wordings and placement slips within agreed contract certainty deadlines.
10.Identify and manage the use of other Lockton resources/specialist teams.
11.Assist with the resolution of service issues with insurers and other third party providers.
12.Work in support of associates by undertaking the broking of new business opportunities, providing relevant market knowledge and attending meetings as required.
13.Undertake technical reviews (where identified) of insurance programmes for clients, making recommendations for change, where deemed relevant.
14.Keep abreast of insurance market developments and communicate to those associates as deemed appropriate and constantly monitor the market in order to consider the most appropriate placement strategy for Lockton.
15.Provide support in drafting reports/presentations/bulletins for use both internally and externally.
16.Undertaking of broking insurance with underwriters.

1.Experience in a managerial role and an extensive experience in this industry insurance company, underwriting for marine insurance preferred.
2.Advanced working knowledge of relevant classes of business, risk management concepts and risk financing.
3.A good understanding of insurer rating methods for each class of insurance, the general principles of insurance and the legal principles applicable to insurance.
4.A thorough knowledge of local regulations and guidelines relating to both commercial and retail customers, if applicable.
5.A thorough understanding of and adherence to Lockton standards and procedures.
6.Ability to broke and service the insurance needs of clients and to build and maintain good business relationships with clients, insurers and associates.
7.Ability to compile, analyze and interpret financial information and data to facilitate decision making.
8.Ability to prepare a broking presentation that accurately reflects the cover required and meets the clients’ demands and needs.
9.Ability to prepare and interpret claims experiences and analysis including claims triangulations and the impact of deductibles and cover variations.
10.Fully understands the concept, issues and overall impact of market pricing.
11.Professional and tactful negotiation and persuasion skills to achieve objectives.
12.Adequate management, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
13.Understanding of clients business issues, insurance needs and expectations.
14.Willingness and ability to continue to develop knowledge of products and related issues through formal and informal learning, both internal and external to the company.
15.Academic Qualification Requirement: A bachelor's degree or above, with a major in shipping, law, insurance, or finance.
16.Possess good English writing and speaking skills.
