Tasks will start simple and gradually increase in complexity as the engineer gains experience. The Junior Service Engineer will typically progress to a Service Engineer position within 12-18 months, depending on personal abilities and previous experience. Progression Path: ? Junior Service Engineer (First 12-18 months): o Initial structured training in laser operation, testing, and basic troubleshooting. o Solve simpler technical issues independently, with assistance for more complex problems. o Work closely with senior team members and Service Manager for guidance and learning. ? Service Engineer (Post 12-18 months, after progression): o Receive advanced training at the service center and factory headquarters. o Independently handle most troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair tasks. o Assume increased responsibility and autonomy, including more frequent customer interactions and potentially remote support. Responsibilities: ? Conduct diagnostics, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of femtosecond laser systems. ? Clearly document all steps of the service process, including identified issues, applied solutions, and test results. ? Adhere strictly to established service and laboratory processes, complying with safety regulations. ? Collaborate closely with Service Manager and senior team members to handle complex issues effectively. ? Escalate technical issues or seek assistance from more experienced colleagues when appropriate. ? Occasional travel to customer locations for onsite installation or repairs as needed. Requirements: ? Bachelor’s degree in Physics, Optics, Electronics, Engineering, or a related field. ? Relevant experience in laser production, service, or related technical fields. ? Good proficiency in English for reading and writing technical documentation. ? Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. ? Meticulous adherence to process and safety guidelines. ? Continuous willingness to learn and effectively collaborate within a team. ? Flexibility for occasional travel, including internationally. Preferred Skills: ?
