We are seeking an individual who is not only adept at system administration but is also a power user of applications relevant to maritime and financial operations. Key Responsibilities: 1. Microsoft 365 and Azure Management: Oversee and optimize Microsoft 365 and Azure environments. Ensure secure and streamlined user management, focusing on access controls and permissions. 2. On-Premises Networking and End-User Devices: Manage and maintain networking devices (routers, switches, etc.) on-premises. Administer end-user devices, ensuring security and performance. 3. Application Support: Act as a power user for various maritime and financial applications. Troubleshoot and resolve application-related issues. 4. User Training: Develop and conduct training programs to enhance user proficiency. Create comprehensive documentation for system usage and best practices. 5. Day-to-Day Support: Provide daily IT support to office staff and vessel crews. Respond promptly to IT service requests and incidents. 6. Vessel Visits: Periodically visit vessels to provide on-site IT support and address technical issues. Ensure compliance with IT security policies during vessel visits. 7. Travel Eligibility: The position may necessitate travel, including on-board vessel visits. The candidate must be eligible and willing to travel as needed. Qualifications: - Proven experience with expertise in Microsoft 365, Azure, networking devices, and end-user device management. - Familiarity with maritime applications and financial systems. - Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability in dynamic environments. - Excellent communication skills, with the ability to train users of varying technical proficiency. -Proficient in vessel's navigation and communication system and devices - Willingness to travel and eligibility for on-board vessel visits to handle vessel's navigation and communication system, as well as other IT issues. - Follow leader's other job assignments
